Ecology, organic quality, traceability, sustainability, social responsibility: they are the Linificio's guidelines.

Linificio aims to place emphasis on the ecological, organic, sustainable and ethical qualities of the whole of its output and subsequent market offer, in order to implement sustainable production methods, reducing environmental impact, proposing ecological and organic products, and qualifying them with product, process and traceability certifications.

The Quality System operated by Linificio (Italian operative units) is in compliance with the standard UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 (VISION 2000) for design and manufacture of flax yarn and assimilable (roves, tows and slivers).
The Quality System operated by Filin (Tunisian operative units) is in compliance with the standard UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 for development and manufacture of flax yarn and bast fibre.

Yarns manufactured by Linificio are guaranteed by MASTERS OF LINEN, a quality mark applied to yarns and textiles manufactured in Western Europe or in decentralised spinning factories controlled by companies situated in Western Europe, using raw materials of the same origin.
The application of this label onto the finished product can be obtained demonstrating to have purchased the yarn manufactured in one of the spinning factories associated to the promotional activities of CELC (Confédération Européenne Lin et Chanvre).

Yarns manufactured by Linificio are guaranteed by Ecolabel, the ecological quality mark of the European Union.

Yarns manufactured by Linificio are guaranteed by OEKO-TEX. This mark represents the guarantee that the product, onto which it is applied, does not contain any noxious substances harmful for human health, in a quantity higher than the limits provided by OEKO-TEX standards.
This guarantee also applies to those substances which may develop in the product under standard conditions of use.

Bioflax yarns by Linificio are EKO Sustainable Textile certified. The EKO Sustainable Textile quality symbol is an internationally recognized symbol for organic quality, used every time that raw materials coming from organic cultivations are used and worked with organic methods
